I realize I haven't written anything personal in a while. Well, something happened yesterday that was out of the ordinary for me... I saw people 'speak in tongue' for the first time at a church. They just started talking in a really really weird 'language' that Christians believe is the language of the angels? I think. Well, if ur interested u can read more about it here. Anyway, one guy spoke in really funny tongue, cos he went "@#$%^&*()(*&^%$#@#$%^&- la la la la". Those four last words were indeed, la la la la. I admit I embellished that part with a "tra"lalala when I narrated the events of the night to my colleague the next morning, traumatized as I still was. but "la la la la" were truly his last four tongue words.
I don't know if I believe this whole business. I try not to be too judgemental but I am human, and I am 24 (almost)... no longer plastic. And maybe I've been in my own scientific world for too long and I'm in too deep. But what I saw yesterday really disturbed me in the sense that, I just can't understand how people who look so normal and ordinary actually believe in something that looks so absolutely bonkers to me. It warps my sense of reality.
